Department store challenge
The Post really outdid themselves with this assessment of holiday shopping at New York department stores. The winner? Bergdorf Goodman. The loser? Macy's and Filene's Basement. (I agree on all accounts.) They also assess department store restaurants if you need to refuel while shopping. Also: Wear white boots; TiffanyAlana skirts (hint: Buy the knockoffs at Urban Outfitters; monogramming is hot (no, really?!); and dressing up in cold weather.
