Sale of the week: Granted, it's slim pickings this week sale-wise (looks like everyone's on vacation), but this cash-only mystery sale features James Perse, Joey & T, Buffalo, Betsy Johnson, Seven, Miss Sixty, Paper Denim & Cloth, Hudson, and Von Dutch. It's the Pre-Season Fashion Event at Loehmann's, where you can get $10 bonus dollars for every $50 you spend, plus get an additional 50% off clearance merchandise. 7/20-7/25.

Summer markdowns at MoMA Design Store on selected tabletop, desk, and personal accessories, home furnishings, and stationery have reached 20%-70% off, and all proceeds support MoMA. Through 8/1; 44 W. 53rd St. (5th & 6th Aves.), 81 Spring St. (at Crosby).

I checked out Sigerson Morrison over the weekend (shockingly, I was a good girl and did not buy anything). Shoes are now 50% off, and there's still a very good selection (and no lines to get into the store). Most pairs are in the $150-$200 range, but if you go to the website, you can buy the Belle line (not available at the SM store), most of which is under $150. Of course, if you're holding out for the big sale, all Sigerson Morrison shoes will be $110 as of 7/30.
